How the crawler works
Four passes, every six hours.
- Step 01
Discover
Starting from a few seed relays we read kind:10002 relay lists (NIP-65), kind:30166 monitor reports (NIP-66) and kind:10063 Blossom server lists (BUD-03). Every relay found becomes a new source.
- Step 02
Probe
Each relay gets its NIP-11 document fetched, a WebSocket opened, a REQ for recent events and a signed ephemeral test event published to see whether it accepts writes.
- Step 03
Upload
Each Blossom server receives a tiny signed PNG upload. A few seconds later we fetch it again, verify the SHA-256 hash and then delete it.
- Step 04
Publish
Results are scored, stored and exposed through this site and a free JSON API — no key, no sign-up, CORS enabled.
